This I Believe

What do the students in the 5i class believe in? What is important to them, and how have they been coping during the Covid 19 times?

Drawing inspiration from the famous „This I Believe“ series aired on National Public Radio (NPR), the 5i English class decided to write their own essays on what THEY believe in.

These essays were written during the height of the first Covid 19 lockdown in March and April 2020. As such, they are impressive historical documents on how each of the students tried to cope during these difficult times.

As you can hear and read, the epidemic has certainly left its indelible traces on our students‘ psyche, but they have all grown enormously during the crisis and have, most importantly, discovered what they believe in and where they draw their strength from.
